Central Library
About the Library
The Library was established in 2002. It has completed
nearly five years and has built a large collection
of books, Journal and Audio-visual Resources. It
caters to the needs of large groups of users
including more than 2200 students, 185 faculties,
and supporting staff. It has computerized all its
house-keeping activities using a LIBRARIAN - library
Management Software that is being maintained and
updated regularly. Library has subscribed to access
IEL ONLINE & ASME through INDEST-AICTE
Consortium.

The current holdings of our library 9525 books,95 journals
and magazines,170 Project Reports and 1100 audio
visual resources.

IEL Online:-
The Institutes subscribes to ‘IEL Online’ through
INDEST-AICTE consortium has access to 9,50,000
documents from over 12,000 publications, including
120 Journals, transactions, magazine, conference
proceedings and IEEE standards.

ASME Online:-
The Institutes also subscribes to ‘ASME- American
Society for Mechanical Engineers International’
online journals has access to 22 online journals

Library Automation:-
The Library has been automated using
LIBRARIAN-Library Management Software user-friendly
library package. The Software facilitates automated
circulation (Issue-Return) of books and speedy
access to availability information of the books.
WORKING HOURS
From 8:30 A.M. to 6:30 P.M
Special arrangements are made to keep library open
till 8:00 A.M. to 6:30 P.M during university
examinations.
Library is having BRITISH LIBRARY membership.
