Teachers Day Celebration

In honor of late Dr. Sarvpalli Radha Krishanan, the past President of India and a teacher by profession and pursuit, the institute celebrates Teacher’s Day on his birthday 5th September every year.

Industrial Visit

The self-confidence of any student get significantly lifted when one actually witnesses the things working which are learnt in the institute. With a view to getting the feel of the industry, the institute every year, organizes industrial tours and invites the eminent persons from the industry.
 

Search 2007
 

The institute organized an in-house technical symposium ‘SEARCH-2007’ in March. The objective of ‘SEARCH-2007’ is to provide an opportunity to the students to bring out their latent talent through different competitions. Total no. of students participated in different events. The judges were eminent, educationist and researchers from various institutes of the state.

Personality Development

The institute is very much conscious about the over all development of the students. H’ble Chairman Mr. Bhogilal Patel is of the opinion that ten to fifteen percent of every batch of engineers, coming out of LCIT must go abroad for further studies.

To ensure this, the management has hired consultants from the field to conduct Personality Development Program .The Program includes the topics like communication skill, General etiquettes, Telephone etiquettes, preparing for competitive exams, resume preparation, Interview skill and job oriented programmer etc.

Expert Lecture

The institute avails the benefit of visiting Professors scheme of ISTE. Prof. Dr T.S. Rathod from IIT Bombay delivered series of lectures for the students and faculty of Electrical Engineering. The institute invites field experts, prominent academicians and well known academic administrators to enlighten the students of the institute with their knowledge.

N S S
N.S.S. Unit was started in September 2004.It consists of 100 volunteers. Various social and Welfare activities were organized within the College campus and near by village. Recently

The following activities were organized by N.S.S
1.Blood donation camp
2.Relief fund for Tsunami victims
3.Aids awareness program

Recently, Blood donation camp and Thalassemia Test was organized at the institute on 7/2/2007 and  ” Svachhta  Abhiyan -2007 “ was organized at village Bhandu for one day  on  20/04/2007.

Sports

Each year most of the students take part in a wide range of indoor and outdoor sports. Our students have participated in the various indoor and outdoor games in the inter college competitions as well national athletics competitions. The institute had playgrounds for cricket, football and volleyball. It also has athletics track.

Yoga

The institute believes that the learning environment should not only be free from noise or pollution, but it should also be calm and spiritual. The divinity of the environment promotes positive learning ambience.

For better learning the students should have very healthy mental state of mind which is achieved through Yoga and meditation. The Yoga classes, on a regular basis, are organized in the institute

Tree Plantation

The institute arranges Tree Plantation program every year through the NSS unit of the institute.

Pratibha

As the proverb says, “All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy.” It is vital that the citizens of the future learn to cherish their environment of extra curricular activities to exhibit their talent.

The institute arranges cultural program under Pratibha to provide the platform for the students to bring out their talents. The program is organized by the students them selves. Pratibha is very eagerly awaited by the students. Eminent personalities are invited to this function.
